CHELSEA LATELY

Picture
Does not air on Canada at the moment. You can watch clips on Eonline.com or catch her on the E! Network on satellite television.Chelsea Handler is hilarious as the only lady of late-night television. Her drunken party girl, brassy persona is perfect to poke fun at Hollywood's superficial celebutantes and fame whores. She will not go off on everyone, but she has her favorite targets such as LiLo, Speidi, Tori Spelling and Samantha Harris (yes, from Dancing with the Stars, why she hates her is a mystery to me). Along with her sidekick, the very Mexican Chuy and a cohort of staffers (who are also comedians), Chelsea Handler makes it hard to go to bed early. She used to be on at 1:35 am and I used to stay up to watch her. How I did that last year? I don't know. MY FAVORITE THING: The "Roundtable"segment and the various "Judge Handler" skits.

90210

Picture
Airs Thursdays at 10:00 p.m EST, on GlobalTV or Tuesdays at 8:00 p.m. EST on the CW. (Teen) Drama. 90210 is the spinoff of Beverly Hills: 90210, (which is part of my favorite show [past]) and reuses the same premise as the original, putting siblings Annie and Dixon in a fish out of water situation when they (along with their parents) move from Kansas to rich Beverly Hills. Listen to my Vlog below where I gave you a short 411 on what goes on in the 90210, America's most popular (and sometimes scandalous) zip code. MY FAVORITE THINGS: I love the clothes, I find they do a great job of creating a very unique look for every character. Also, I won't lie, 90210 is my O.C. replacement (not to mention the daughter of one of my all-time faves), so I cannot help but LOVE IT.

LAW & ORDER

Picture
Airs Mondays at 10:00 p.m. EST, on NBC. Drama/Procedural Crime drama. "In the criminal justice system, the people are represented by two separate yet equally important groups: The police who investigate crime, and the district attorneys who prosecutes the offenders. These are there stories." In the first half hour, follow Detectives Lupo (Jeremy Sisto) and Bernard (Anthony Anderson) in their quest to bring justice to the streets of New York City. Then, for the last half hour, watch as EADA (Executive District Attorney) Michael Cutter (Linus Roache) and ADA (Assistant District Attorney) Connie Rubirosa (Alana De La Garza) bring these criminals to trial in order to try to convict them. MY FAVORITE THING: I love everything about this show, especially the writing. This is one of those shows I can watch twice and still appreciate.

Join Detectives Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Stabler (Christopher Meloni) as they try to bring sex offenders to justice, in order to make New York a safer place. MY FAVORITE THING (CHARACTER): Stephanie March's "ADA Alexandra Cabot". I <3 her!

GLEE

Picture
Airs Wednesdays on 9 p.m EST, on Fox. Glee is about an unlikely group of high school students getting together, despite their differences (mostly between the different school cliques) to make music. Sure, there are many subplots, like coach Sue Sylvester's (a marvelous Jane Lynch) quest to annihilate the Glee club, Quinn Fabray's (Diana Agron) babby daddy mystery or Mr. Schu's (Matthew Morrisson) inappropriate crush on OCD guidance counselor Emma Pillsbury (Jayma May) despite his very married status, but the main focus is on the teens and their music. Jocks Finn (Cody Monteith) and Puck (Mark Sailing), join pregnant cheerleader Quinn, fake-stutterer Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz), diva Mercedes (Amber Riley), wheelchair-bound Artie (Kevin McHale), sartorially inclined Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Barbra Streisand wannabe Rachel (Lea Michele) to create this quirky ensemble that will bring smiles to your faces, but also sometimes a tear in your eye. MY FAVORITE THING: The musical numbers are amazing. I own both soundtracks.
